Boundary research:
A full boundary survey can be expensive—a
daunting consideration, especially if you haven’t decided whether to buy the
parcel or not. Sometimes we can perform enough research to generate a report
indicating approximate boundary locations, approximate acreage, and potential
problems (overlaps etc). This can be especially useful when dealing with a large,
rural parcel for which the existing “deed description" is vague or ambiguous
(as is often the case). Cost is usually a small fraction of that of a boundary
survey and the product can usually serve as the basis for a subsequent survey
if need be.
